The second annual When a Parent Has Cancer: Strengthening the School's Response conference brought together educators to learn how to better support families impacted by parental cancer. When a parent has cancer, teachers and school personnel become essential members of a support network for children and young adults dealing with uncertainty, confusion and sadness.
